Principal

Mr. Chubb is a Principal of CORE Ventures. He has 20 years experience in construction management, including roles in project management, engineering, estimating, budget control, financial reporting, contracting, purchasing, field supervision, and accounting. Interfacing with effectively with architects, engineers, developers, city agencies, and end users, Mr. Chubb successfully delivers projects from preconstruction to final completion.

He has extensive experience working with the owner’s representative on all aspects of construction issues including budget set-up and control, change orders, design team management and problem resolution, tenant(s) interface, city agency and inspector relations, occupancy certificates, and facility training. Professionalism, communication skills, and the ability to work as a team are his strong points in delivering projects. He also has specialized in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Life Safety Systems, which further ensures that the design is properly coordinated, the work is installed per specifications, and the building commissioning is completed correctly. Mr. Chubb’s notable project experience includes the Microsoft Proctor Building, One Convention Place, Elleven Condominiums, AT&T Wireless, Octel Communications Headquarters, Watsonville Community Hospital, Environmental Nature Center (first LEED Platinum building in Orange County), Irvine Regional Transportation Center Parking Structure, Washington Mutual Irvine Campus Expansion, and Benjamin Franklin Tower Renovation.
