Mark G. Hoglund

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hoglund brings 22+ years of experience as Chief Financial Officer of the Griffin Holdings organization.  As CFO, Mr. Hoglund oversees all financial and operational functions of CORE Ventures.

Mr. Hoglund earned an M.B.A. degree in Finance, Real Estate and Public Policy from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and he received his B.S. Degree in Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He received his C.P.A. while working for Arthur Andersen & Co., and subsequently served as an Economic and Financial Analyst for Lincoln Property Company. Additionally, Mr. Hoglund was the Program Director for Lockheed Martin IMS, where he was in charge of all Orange County, California operations and governmental affairs for the company.

Mr. Hoglund has also served in a variety of key financial and management positions in the public sector. His public service positions include Chief of Staff at the United States Interstate Commerce Commission, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer to California Governor Pete Wilson when he campaigned for the Presidency, Chief Deputy Director of the California Department of General Services, Advisor to California State Treasurer Matt Fong, and Chief of Staff to the Mayor of San Diego.
