Buena Park Fire Station No. 61

Griffin Structures is serving as Program and Construction Manager for the Buena Park Fire Station No. 61 project. The station will replace the existing 50 year-old Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) Station No. 61. Griffin is providing services for the design and construction of the 18,000 square foot facility, including early programming and phasing analyses to relocate the station to a new site.

The $13 million facility will house firefighters as well as Orange County Fire Authority administrative offices, serving as a Battalion and Division headquarters. The design incorporates a pre-engineered metal building structure that will result in a savings of approximately $1 million compared to a wood structure. The station will include three fire apparatus bays, training rooms and office space, sleeping quarters, kitchen and dining facilities, and a workout room.
